REDISCOVER YOUR YOUTHFUL CONTOURS AND ENHANCED VOLUME FOR A RADIANT YOU
Facial Rejuvenation
Facial rejuvenation treatments are ideal for individuals seeking non-surgical solutions to address signs of ageing, enhance facial contours, or improve symmetry. These treatments help restore lost facial volume, which naturally diminishes as we age. If you're looking to achieve fuller lips, cheeks, or jawline, facial rejuvenation can provide effective enhancement. They also assist in smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles, offering a more youthful appearance. In some cases, combining treatments may be recommended to achieve optimal results, depending on your individual concerns and goals.
NON-INVASIVE TREATMENTS
Luxury Aesthetics uses non-invasive cosmetic treatments to replenish the natural support structures of the face damaged by the ageing process. Through targeted processes of re-volumising and hydrating, the visible signs of ageing can be reduced.
During your Luxury Aesthetics consultation, we will assess the status of your face, to help you select the best course of treatment for your unique needs.

Most individuals are suitable candidates for facial rejuvenation treatments. The best option for you will depend on your specific skin concerns. If you’re noticing facial volume loss, hollowness, or wrinkles as you age, facial rejuvenation can offer a fast and effective non-surgical solution.
To achieve your desired results, various areas of the face may be treated with one of our rejuvenation methods. During your consultation, we will assess the severity of your wrinkles or fine lines and help you choose the most suitable treatment based on your unique needs.

There is no specific age to begin your facial rejuvenation treatments, as the decision depends on individual goals and skin concerns. However, these treatments are not suitable for individuals under 18 years of age. It is always beneficial to focus on slowing the development of wrinkles by maintaining a good skincare routine and using effective sun protection.

Unfortunately, facial rejuvenation treatments cannot be administered during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. This is because no clinical trials have been conducted to assess the safety of these treatments for pregnant or breastfeeding women, meaning there could be potential risks to you or your baby.
-
To ensure a smooth and successful facial rejuvenation treatment, please review the following checklist. Following these guidelines will help minimise the risk of unwanted side effects and ensure your treatment goes ahead as planned.
Health Requirements: You must NOT be pregnant or breastfeeding. You should be in good health on the day of your treatment, with no cold/flu symptoms, well-controlled allergies, and no signs of infections (e.g., urinary, dental, skin, sinus, respiratory, cold sores, gastrointestinal).
Medication and Infections: If you are taking antibiotics, please reschedule your treatment until the course is completed, as infections in the body can increase the risk of complications.
Timing for Events: There is always a risk of bruising or swelling post-treatment. If you have an important event, schedule your treatment at least 4 weeks in advance. For weddings, please consult with your provider for personalised recommendations.
Air Travel: Avoid air travel, especially international, for 1-2 weeks post-treatment, as cabin pressure can increase swelling or bruising.
Herbal Remedies and Supplements: Some herbal supplements, such as fish oil, garlic, ginseng, turmeric, ginger, evening primrose, St. John’s Wort, ginkgo biloba, and vitamins containing Vitamin E, may increase the risk of bruising. It is recommended to cease taking these 7 days prior to your treatment, unless medically necessary.
Previous Treatments: If you’ve had previous treatments in the same area, ensure that at least 4 weeks have passed before undergoing further treatments.
In-Clinic Facial Treatments: Any recent facial treatments such as laser, skin needling, radiofrequency, IPL, chemical peels, or microdermabrasion should be scheduled at least 2-4 weeks prior to your facial rejuvenation treatment.
Alcohol and Hydration: Avoid alcohol the day before, the day of, and the day after your treatment. Stay well-hydrated to help minimise bruising.
Makeup: Please arrive with a clean, makeup-free face, as any makeup will need to be removed prior to treatment.
Cold Sores: If you are prone to cold sores and are having treatment for lip enhancement, it is recommended to pre-treat with antiviral medication (e.g., acyclovir) to prevent an outbreak.
Invasive Procedures: Avoid scheduling any invasive procedures for 2 weeks before and after your treatment. This includes dental work, surgeries, internal device placements, tattoos, or permanent makeup.
By following these guidelines, you help ensure a smoother and safer experience with your facial rejuvenation treatment.

Before proceeding with facial rejuvenation treatments, an initial in-clinic consultation is required. During this consultation, your nurse will assess your needs to determine if facial rejuvenation is the most effective option for your concerns. A comprehensive evaluation will be conducted, and a quote will be provided based on the areas to be treated.
In this initial consultation, you will be asked to sign a consent form, ensuring that you fully understand the procedure, including the associated risks and potential complications. Additionally, a phone consultation with a doctor will take place to obtain a prescription for the treatment(s) you require. This step is necessary, as facial rejuvenation products are classified as Schedule 4 (S4) medications and require a prescription. The prescription is valid for 12 months and must be renewed once it expires.

Following your facial rejuvenation treatment, it’s important to adhere to the guidelines below to help ensure your results are successful and to minimise any unwanted side effects.
Facial rejuvenation treatments typically have results that last between 2 to 24 months. This duration can vary based on several factors, including the mechanical action in the treatment area, the amount and type of product used, injection technique, lifestyle factors, and individual metabolism.
Initial Reactions: Redness, swelling, and mild itching around the injection site usually resolve within one to two days, though we recommend allowing up to two weeks for full resolution. Lip treatments may take longer to settle due to the sensitivity of the area. If you experience any unusual reactions, please contact the clinic.
Bruising: Bruising is a common side effect around the injection sites, and taking blood-thinning medications can increase this risk. We recommend applying a cool compress to the treated area for the first three days post-treatment and considering antihistamines to help reduce swelling.
Discomfort: Some discomfort and tenderness are normal after your procedure.
Makeup and Skincare: Avoid wearing makeup for 12 hours post-treatment, and if you must wear makeup, ensure it is mineral-based. Please continue your regular skincare routine after this period.
Activities and Touching: Avoid excessive alcohol intake and vigorous exercise for the first 48 hours, as these can exacerbate bruising and swelling. Refrain from touching the treated area for 24 hours. Although vigorous massage of the treated areas is not recommended, gentle massage may be permissible in the event of unevenness or lumps, as discussed during your consultation.
Temperature Exposure: Avoid exposing the treated areas to extreme heat (e.g., solarium, spas, saunas, sun exposure) or extreme cold until all redness and swelling have fully resolved. Always use a high-factor sun protection on your face.
Post-Treatment Precautions: Avoid dental work, air travel, and other aesthetic treatments for 14 days following your treatment.
As mentioned during your consultation, you may require more than one treatment session to achieve optimal results. If you have concerns about your treatment results or potential side effects, please contact the clinic for advice and support.
A follow-up appointment will be scheduled for you four weeks after your treatment to assess your results and address any questions you may have.
